On Friday, 4 students, part of the Research Aligned Mentorship Program at Farmingdale State College, organized by their academic counselor Dylan Gafarian, came to the North Shore Soup Kitchen and painted our pantry.
Their program strives to develop the students academically and engage them in research. Beyond that, as they are all local students they really wanted to start giving back to the community. The students were absolutely wonderful. They did a great job, left the place spotless and had a good time. Thank you Dylan and all these wonderful young men and women.
